Long wait times for a specialist can mean more pain, more time off what you love, and more uncertainty. Whether you're dealing with arthritis or a sports injury, waiting months for answers shouldn't be the only option.

About the specialist

Why patients choose Dr. Kosh

Dr. Kaushik Hazratwala (Dr. Kosh) is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience focused on the knee and hip. His practice spans arthritis and joint replacement through to ligament and cartilage injuries in active patients, supported by computer-assisted and robotic techniques and ongoing clinical research.

His approach is education first: you'll leave a consultation understanding your diagnosis, the non-surgical options available, and what surgery would and wouldn't achieve — so any decision is yours, made with clear information.

  • Fellowship-trained in knee and hip surgery
  • 20+ years treating arthritis and sports injuries
  • Publishes free educational videos on YouTube explaining common knee and hip conditions

Who we help

Two kinds of knees and hips, one standard of care

Joint pain & arthritis

If stairs, gardening or a night's sleep have become harder than they used to be, that's worth assessing properly. We explain what your X-rays actually show, what can be managed without surgery, and when a hip or knee replacement is genuinely the right step. Family members are welcome at every appointment.

Sports & active injuries

ACL ruptures, meniscal tears, cartilage damage and unstable knees need a timely, accurate diagnosis so rehabilitation can start on the right footing. We map out a realistic return-to-sport plan, whether that's club football, running or simply getting back to training.

Physiotherapy and rehab are already included

For patients with private health extras cover, physiotherapy and rehabilitation carry no additional out-of-pocket cost with us — they are part of the surgical package rather than something billed separately afterwards. Your recovery program is planned with the same team that performs your surgery, so nothing falls between the cracks.

Leave your details and our team will help you get started

Please note: Dr. Kosh handles each case personally. Availability is limited by his surgical schedule, so we encourage reaching out to secure your spot.
